Digitalization of "Il piccolo posto"
The twice-weekly "Il piccolo posto" was started by Umberto Murè on march the 20th 1922 and printed by Merano's Laurin printing works. In february 1923 it was handed over to Luigi Barbesino and Emilio Desio, leading members of local fascism. Atesina, Temi and Monauni printing works printed it in the following years. The newspaper gave ample space to local news
(political above all, sometime even in articles written in German) and to the frequent clashes between the different factions of the fascist party. The newspaper’s last issue was published on November the 10th, 1926. |
